Dr. Gary McGinnis

Dr. McGinnis was born and raised in Washington State and finished his education on the West Coast. He worked as a college professor and administrator at several universities in the United States for thirty six years.
Dr. McGinnis retired from Illinois State University as Associate Vice President of Research, the Graduate School and International Studies.
He says, "I have been fortunate to be a small part of the McLean County Diversity Project for the last six years. It is an outstanding program which has benefitted the students that participated in the program, the community and the adults that work in the program. The program has grown rapidly in the last six years because of the quality of the organizations leadership and the strong support of the community. It is an honor to be a part of this project and to see how this program helps the young people of Mclean County."
