Training McLean County Diversity Project c/o Jeffrey A. Schwartz PO Box 58 Downs, IL 61736
This year, we will host several interactive trainings related to the diversity of religion. The project has partnered with several individuals to create what we believe to be a most ambitious and meaningful training program. Scholars will interact with several speakers of different relgions: Atheism, Wicca, Hinduism, Mormonism, Judaism, Protestantism, Catholicism, Islam, and Unitarianism. We will also have two discussions on morals versus values. One interaction will be a viewing of the Crucible at the Normal Theatre. We would like to thank Julie and Bob Dobski, Normal Mayor Chris Koos, and Casali Brothers, Waste Disposal and Recycling Services for funding this interaction. We will once again have a weekend retreat at East Bay Camp. The Project is partnering with individuals and organizations to study Kickapoo and Navaho Tribe Celebrations, Zen Buddhism, and Reverend Bill DeLong will help us further explore the diversity of religion. The following donors have provided funding to help make our East Bay Camp experience a success:
