Wyoming Diary-Thursday

Thursday we woke up to snow, again!  By now, Janet and Peter were getting used to quickly rearranging our schedule.  When Janet and I were in Wyoming in April, they told us they get very little rain and snow.

View of the mountains when we arrived:

That same view on Thursday:

Before breakfast, students were divided into three classes--upper, middle, and lower, and Peter was the King.  The lower class served the middle and upper class breakfast and did the dishes, before having breakfast themselves.  The upper class received other privileges as well.

After breakfast, the King hosted a tournament, where his subjects competed to be the heir to the throne.  The upper class again was given special assistance in the competition.

Unfortunately, King Pete's reign ended shortly before lunch, when he was assassinated by members of the lower and middle class.

Thursday afternoon we rode again, and students had the opportunity to gallop.

Thursday evening we were entertained by a singer.  The students then had a moving discussion on several topics, including how they are seen by others.
