Wyoming Diary-Wednesday

Wednesday morning we woke to snow!  After listening to fellow chaperone, Robin Roberts, explain repeatedly that Yellowstone is a huge volcano thousands of years past due for an eruption, I briefly thought the falling snow might be volcanic ash.
After breakfast, the chaperones nominated three students for president. After breakfast, the three made campaign speeches, and an election was held.  Chad Roberts was elected  President, and the rest of the students were his Congress.  President Chad and Congress had to resolve several issues, including addressing punishments for students breaking camp rules.
Congress met until lunch, and after lunch it was time to ride.  The ride was very challenging, with steep trails up and down the mountains.  I was a little apprehensive to get back on a horse, but I am happy that I did.  The scenery was magnificent, and my new horse behaved fairly well.
In the evening, the students participated in a fishing tournament.
